Job hunting #1

Looking for work has been a major part of my life in the last 6 months which came with its many ups and downs and kept me away from the blog.

I’ve noticed a theme where employers state their requirements of skill sets they believe is needed for the job but are unable to demonstrate the same in the advert. I might post a few of these in the future with their information protected of couse. The below is today’s catch.

[xxx] wish to appoint an Administrator in their Team.

This is a full time role. You will be based in our office in [xxx] initially on a temp contract with flexible hours of 09.30 – 15.00 for the wright candidate this could go to a permanent contract .

You will be primarily providing administrative  to help scan information on to our data base and to help assist candidates threw there paper work but will also be required to support other areas of the business when required.

You should be able to work independently but will very much working as part of a busy, fast paced team. You should support the development of the firm by understanding our business plan and contributing to it wherever possible.

Essential experience/skills:

  • Experience of working to deadlines and targets.
  • Good oral and written communications skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Data inputting/storage.
